Project Overview

Last-mile delivery refers to the final stage of the supply chain, where products are transported from a distribution center to the end consumer's location. The rise of e-commerce and online shopping has led to an increased demand for efficient last-mile delivery services. To address this demand, numerous last-mile delivery apps have emerged, and so did our client also came up with this brilliant idea during Covid-19 times.

Challenge

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, Hungry thought of partnering with municipalities and non-profits across the country to deliver over two million meals a month to seniors, children and those most vulnerable. And this is how Hungry Last Mile App got born. But the challenge was to accomplish route optimisation, real-time tracking, customer communication, return and reverse logistics, and much more, and this is where they headed to Wegile for solution.
