The brief
Cray's premise is serious and human: give people a clearer read on who they're about to meet, before they meet them — using AI to surface potential risks.
Users move through a guided workflow — short and detailed surveys about their dating scenario — while the app searches public registries and cross-checks photos and identities, and the results come back banded, with the reasoning shown. It began as a focused MVP and has grown into a full product, with a complete web application now in build alongside the mobile apps.
It's an ongoing project with live users who are responding well — a privacy-conscious, AI-first product in a sensitive space.
