Node.js or Python — how do you choose?

Node.js for API-heavy, real-time, and high-concurrency products — it handles many simultaneous connections efficiently. Python when the workload is data-heavy, AI/ML, or needs the scientific ecosystem. Most of our production systems use Node.js for the API layer and Python for AI workloads — they coexist cleanly.

Microservices or monolith — how do you approach it?
